Insight From A Friend

Although thousands of miles apart, one of my childhood best friends shared this with me recently. It's pretty profound. Hopefully you take something away from these words.

"Just a night ago I was crying to God (literally) with questions and fears and he answered tonight with the simple truth. Stop asking for God's will for my future to be shown to me and spend more time reading, no soaking in, the part of his will that he has already revealed...the precious verses of His Word. Simple but profound. God doesn't claim to be a floodlight but rather a lamp..not showing far ahead, but guiding each next step." -JM
